Thanks Ken, I had totally overlooked the hand !! I did have my wife there with a reflector but she was more interested in chatting than holding my "stupid" reflector !

My vote is for the 10-17 !

It's a boy. (Not mine btw) ! It was a favour to some of my wifes colleagues, I was expecting more of a formal shoot but they just wanted some informal family shots in the garden.

My main concern was over the focus effect, I don't want to lose too much detail, but it has to look deliberate obviously.

Well I did the shoot today & they weren't looking for any classical shots, just more informal family portraits to send as thankyou's. Baby is at that awkward age, just beggining to focus his eyes. I said I'd return in a month or 2 when he's more alert to perform a more formal shoot.

I'm just quickly processing some of the better poses & would like your quick opinions on my soft-focus attempts is possible please.

Just to point out that this is not a genuine Pentax grip. In case anyone made the assumption & snapped it up quickly.
