My husband and I were recently in China, our first airing for our K20D's. Whilst obviously being careful especially around any police or military we found it helped that we were a couple. We also had to be very careful around museums and temples. People did look suspiciously at our cameras but Nick does very well with hip shots and I found that it helps that I am small and have the ability to look pathetic when I so choose!!! Our hotel was hosting the delegates for the Far Eastern summit, so security at the time was extreme, but we managed to charm the locals and ended up with some lovely shots.

I'm a very new DSLR Pentax K20D user, I have been trying lots of different subjects but have been slightly handicapped with a dodgy thumb recovering from surgery. However I will keep trying and would welcome any comments and advice.
