I'm a very new DSLR Pentax K20D user, I have been trying lots of different subjects but have been slightly handicapped with a dodgy thumb recovering from surgery. However I will keep trying and would welcome any comments and advice.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Hope the thumb gets better soon. It wasn't a trigger thumb was it?. My wife went thru it a the start of the year, quite painfull by all accounts.
