A few more other bits and bobs for sale:

Seculine Twin1 R3 Universal Remote Control - in a very good condition complete with the instruction manual. This has been used on the K20D and the K-7. £10.

Samsung 8GB SDHC Plus - these are in a very good condition, no box but the handy case is included although on one of them the key strap is missing. I haven't had any problems with these but although they have been given Class 6 spec I do find they are slower than some of the other cards I have. Not a problem for static subjects but for fast jet photos for example (which I take a few of) it can be frustrating.

£10 each although if both are bought together then I will reduce the cost.

Dane-Elec 16GB USB Flash Drive - Again in a good used condition with the cap included. £10

Here is a link to the items:

Payment via BT/Paypal gift/Chq

Any queries just send me a PM.

All prices include delivery.

Thanks

Rob

Whatever happened to E(ast)17?

Don't answer that. I don't really want to know. Gone and best forgotten
Thankfully...

Mine because it's my name and the postcode (E17) from where I was born and brought up and where some of my family still live...I wasn't a member of that infamous 90's pop band before anyone asks

Although I did have the misfortune to meet one of the band members once upon a time...

Anyone try the 18-135?
I'd like to know how that performs.
I was hoping to try this lens but Steve from Pentax stated that they didn't have any lenses, they only had a mock-up which they didn't bring with them.

I went this morning as well, thanks to SRS and Pentax for allowing us to have a play with some of the new kit

The K-5 does seem like it might be a worthy upgrade to my K-7, I noticed a few changes to the menu system, for example 5 user modes which could be useful.

It's the last airshow of the season tomorrow at Duxford then that's it until May next year so there's no need for me to upgrade just yet. I think I'll hire a K-5 for the start of next season and see how well it performs before I commit to buying one.

Thanks for all your advice

I've now sold my Tamrac Adventure 9 to a colleague at work so will be looking for a replacement, it will definitely be a Kata so have just got to try some out

Thanks for your reply

I'll be using a K-7 with grip and kit lens attatched, probably have a flashgun and a smaller zoom or two, for example the 50-200mm WR or 55-300mm DA-L.

I'm looking to change from my Tamrac Adventure 9 to another brand, possibly the Kata DR 467i backpack. A friend of mine uses Kata (not this bag though) and I've been impressed with it, especially as it comes with a raincover and a few extra pockets.
Is anyone else using Kata bags for their kit? If so what is your experience of them?
