Bad luck, unrepresentative though generally I think, excepting sensor stains At least you know they have plenty of practise fixing dodgy sensors.
4 months old? Probably a straight replacement.

For the bigger stuff i.e. something like a FA Limited, I will mention it in passing that i'm looking at one or that I have found one that I consider good value. Smaller stuff like a MF lens for sub €100, it does not come up. I might fib a little on some values, knock a tenner off here and there

Sounds like a dodgy memory card to me. I had an Adata Class 6s 16GB card that would show symptoms like this before I binned it.

Arrived to its new home safe and sound . Thanks again for a textbook PU transaction.
All it needs now is a couple little tweaks, a O-ME53, KatzEye and a new Leather strap to complete its transformation into a poor man's Leica street shooter complete with 3 FA Limiteds to choose from.

K55 f/1.8 or the Super Takumar 55 f/1.8 like the one i'm selling . 55 * 1.5 = 82.5 which is 'Portrait' territory, depends on the face also of course . Both of the above can be picked up for relative peanuts and pound for pound demolish the kit lens or any of the old zooms in the returned image. Plus your friend will also learn all about exposure, manual focussing, composing the shot, etc, etc.

Hate RiceHigh with a passion. That guy is just an idiot who basically made his internet name slagging off Pentax. Noone here should ever link to his idiot site because he is a narcissist pure and simple.

As regards the new cameras, 645 refresh probably, low end sub K30 model probably and an APSC K-3(s).
