This photo haunted me as soon as I saw it on the forum home page. It challenges me to see the girl under the hood and the empty environment she seems to be in. I might also have cropped to have the subject more into the centre but maybe then it would be more comfortable to view and not tell the story? A well seen street shot by any measure!

A great shot for colour and light. All the more interesting for showing the reflection of the duck on the thin ice. The way the ripples from his beak are just meeting those from his legs also appeals to me. A shot you might only get once or twice a year - It appeals.

Space for the imagination - I like it!
