* hello again everyone btw
* I added a ricoh gr (non blue tooth one) to my bag for street stranger portraits and model assigments
* bought it back in feb but unfortunately broke rear screen
* still waiting on it from last month - its with John Pye - thanks steve for the recommendation / help
* im not a stats/image peeper but wanted to add the following comments....
* i dont know anyone mentioning it on youtube but i love to shoot green mode and find that the camera can latch on to the eye /face 75% of the time in good light
* contrast is great and images are great up to 6400ISO
* i never let ISO dictate a shoot or a moment so usually shoot it around 1600 to 6400 with no probs
* ive used it for commerical work and my ongoing street stranger series
hope you like the selection i present - cant wait to get it back again

Wondering how i would go about getting a quote for repair of a GR2?

Brilliant! Portraits aren't my 'thing' but these made me stop and look. And you've shown what that little camera with a 'no bells-and-whistles' lens is truly capable of in the right hands. Did I say they're brilliant pictures? Because they are.

PS: Worth looking to Japan on the usual auction site for another Q. I got an 06 lens from there when mine died, a good experience and realistic price.

the best shoot with it was with the punk rock singer that i did last week - photos down below all with the q and the 03 with in camera flash
unfortuntely said Q died the other day so will be after another.

Always enjoyed your contributions QC, and if anything your style has become more varied and even better than before. This little set is superb IMO, street portraiture at its best
