Excellent guys. Tell me this, is it activated the moment something enters the frame and can you set it to fire off multiple shots?
I'm thinking of birds landing on branches etc

All shot with the Sigma 150 500 - all cropped and a little contrast added.

What you think?

Above is another photograph of the Starling murmuration that I was fortunate to witness a few nights ago.

I managed to climb the hill and shoot into the sinking sun. I watched 250k starlings fly over my head crapping all over me as they did so but it was worth it for this I feel.

In and around 1/60 sec ISO 400 Pentax K-x and DA L 18-55

Thank you lads for the information. I will be sure to read both your posts very carefully this evening and try it out.

AGAIN

I cannot believe how good the RAW image quality is good with this camera.

When you shoot wildlife you need the best ISO quality because of low light etc.

Below is my first bird encounter with the camera - a female Greenfinch collecting nest material.

This is at ISO800 and its cropped nearly 75%

A wonderful camera and I cant wait to marry it with a DA* 300 the next time funds allow.

Is this a dangerous thing to do?

Ive been testing the camera out over the last 24 hours and it works like a dream. Can someone tell me how to do it exactly?
