Yeah was looking at that lens as well....but will be travelling to new York for a holiday soon and the price there is a lot easier to take once you convert dollars to euros. Was just checking with B&H online and the 17-70 is actually most expensive....strange as it is cheaper here is Europe

I have a K200D and was looking into getting the new Pentax 18-135 to replace my kit lens. Was wondering if anyone has any experience using the lens with a K200D? I have heard that the lens works best with the K5 as the lens correction in camera helps and also the focus speed is very fast with the k5.....but I dunno if it would work just as well with the K200D which doesn't have lens correction?

Nice pics...I was looking around for this lens on ebay etc. but could never find one. Would you say it is a good alternative to the Pentax 18-135?

Thanks for all the replies...
Here is the reply I got from SRS.
"We can offer reduced postage to Ireland (the same discount as for UK members), which would be £12.00 instead of £19.99."
I am happy with this. Good that they offer the same discount.

Has anyone got any good places to buy this lens? Online stores preferably. The best price I have found is srs microsystems.
I have just registered my Pentax camera (Register Page) and got an email saying that I should be receiving an individual special thank you for registering your PENTAX product. Has anyone done the same and what gift did you receive?
