I could use the timer for now but just wanted a remote release, cable type if I can find one. Just nice to be able to stand by and take a few shots when on the tripod. I'm sure there is a third party made unit cheaper than the Pentax cable unit.

I'm looking for a remote release cable/timer for the K3 so I can start using it on the tripod. Does any one know of a third party release. I'm having problems finding one local in Norfolk. WEX have none at the moment.
Can any one recommend one they have used etc.

Thanks for the info but tried all of that and all I get is the circle of dots revolving round for ever and a day and no upload. Reduced the Image to less than 400K and longest side to less than 800 pix and still no upload. I can upload to the Gallery but not the forum. Very strange.

Very strange, I just click on the X and it takes me to the gallery where I can post, but I can't post in the Forum. Strange but True
