Sorry for yet another dumb question, but I searched the forum (& Google) but can't find out if this flash is OK to use on my K-x?
I have the instructions with both the camera & flash, but there is no clear info - don't want to "cream-cracker" the camera!!!

I've just got hold of an FA 80-200mm SMC 4.6/5.6 from eBay
I did notice it had "Made in Taiwan" on it Is this normal as I thought they were Japanese, of have I been HAD
It does seem to be OK, its compatible with my K-x, but I won't be able to give it a good try until the weekend.

As a relative novice to this "digital age", and having just ordered a new K-x... I am looking at a decent flash.
My understanding is if I use the wrong type of flash it could/will damage the camera!!!!
I currently have an old Sunpak GX17 and a Miranda 500-CD.
As I cannot justify the expense of around £200 for an AF360FGZ, how do I tell if a flash is OK to use with my K-x? Is there a guide anywhere?

...........daft point, but the wording of the "Cashback" :

Hi... Just getting back into photography from pre-millenium days.
Used to have a Canon 35mm slr, with Pentax-K fit lenses, so have just ordered a nice K-x, to make good use of the old lenses.
