I had a look at it in my local Asda store along side a couple of Fuji and a Nikon cameras and felt, it felt much more rebust in build. However not sure of the performance in there comparisons.

Thanks guys have to say I am happy with the Kr to be honest may be a better bet would be to invest in some quality glass.

I only ever print images at A4 and use the Pentax Kr is there any need to upgrade to a K5. What I
supose Im asking would I see any signifcant improvment on a A4 print.

I just use center point focus and usualy spot metering seems to work for me.
