Can find it Ian.... have you a link?

Seems to be a hell of a lot of refurbs kicking about.... plus a lot of faulty cameras will have been repaired and sent back to their owners.

They get more than £400 on ebay so why sell direct?

K10D and two K100D's on the ebay site Link

I think the Tamron 18/250 would have been an excelent choice of lens for your requierments. I myself will be getting this lens at some point.

Well Im pleased at least somebody did get the camera it seems to me though they just simply missed priced the camera on there website. When I asked re my order they said the offer had run out and were only offering the camera as part of a package deal. Now we see the body can be purchased at £650 strange.

What makes me smile is that people said on here it was a mistake or a con, place an order and then get upset when they don't get one while others (hopefully) do.
Seeing you set the thread Mike did you feel it was a con or did you place an order ?.

Well I placed and order this morning and had my order confirmd by them at £299.99 body only. This was canceled later in the day by the company staiting there were no longer any stock left. I phoned them later staiting I was intersted in purchasing the gx 20 and asked if it was in stock and was told yes they are in stock. I then let on that in actual fact I had placed an order earlier at the web price body only at £299.99. Her reply to me was that the offer body only was sold out and now they were only offering the camera as a package deal with two lenses. I would be interested to here if anyone actualy did manage to get the camera at the price advertised but I doubt it. I think they made an error with there advertisment and are now covering it up or trying to by saying the origanal deal was sold out.

ok thanks for the comment lookiag at about 500 pound mark so not sure what to get yet have been advised by srs microsystems that the sigma 18-200 is a good all rounder to get me started on opinions please i know the tamron is slightly cheaper than the sigma and the pentax is more that all of the mentioned lenses
If you have £500 to spend I would buy the Tamron 18/250 and a pentax 50mm 1.4 for low light and potraits. I have the 1.4 and its a lovely portrait lens if you can get one now.
