A classic piece of art - great work.
I've tried many times to capture those rays of light but never succeeded, so I know how difficult it is !
Congratulations.

I was away last week so missed this when it was first posted.
I'm glad it has been given this recognition of POTW so it has been brought to my attention.
WOW, what a beautiful scene and to think you almost ignored it !
Great work, well done.

"One of the wonderful ancient trees on Hampstead Heath. With thanks to PeterKR for the inspiration."
Well spotted and captured :D
I'm truly honoured that my previous postings could have had such influence ! Many thanks.
What treatment did you use to get that B&W effect ?

Nice compo and treatment.
If you had taken the shot from closer to the ground could you have framed more of the building at the far end of the avenue of trees ?
Best regards
