Yes that is what I mean(Old age catching up with me), I'll have a look at their website and see if I can get a few dates from when different events may be taking place.

Well, there are such lenses, which you can get second-hand occasionally, but they were designed for film cameras. On an APS-C body, the equivalents are the DA* 16-50 and the DA* 50-135.

I suspect your tutor has the lenses you mention and uses them on a so-called full-frame body, which is where they belong. If he uses an APS-C body, then he has probably had the lenses for years and can't bear/afford to change them for something more suitable.

I must admit, George has come up with 2 very nice lenses here, and that is one point I like of the APS-C body of a K20, I cant buy a 300mm for the nikon(need mega dosh), but the 70-200mm gives me that on the pentax.

No I don't, the Pentax was my first ever SLR and it's what raised my passion for photography, my hope is that they bring out a FF Pentax DSLR, but till then for my FF I will keep useing the Nikon.

The more bodys the better, I'll be bring both of my systems anyway. RR wants to have a play with my 12-24mm so I'll have to bring that anyway. I like his idea of combineing it with the bay as well.
