Myself am a member to many local and international photo forums (fm, photonet, dpreview, photomalaysia, nikonlist, clubsnap, pentaxuser...etc.).
www.PentaxWorld.com is not to compete with PentaxUser, I believe we can work together and share more Pentax information worldwide and have more people joining the Pentax family
I have to admit that Pentax K10D is the reason that I got interested in Pentax system...feature rich, good value for money and the most attractive DSLR in the market for my budget at the moment

dynadot.com is the registra I use to register my domain (similar to godaddy). Before knowing dynadot, I don't have a domain of my own, so I use gmail in the information page at dynadot for easy communication. I have many other domains with dynadot.com, but I don't want to use them to monitor my emails.
Honestly, I find gmail to be very nice to use, much nicer than horde or squarrelmail in cpanel. I don't use Outlook much now, as I prefer to store my emails online and accessible everywhere. The search feature in gmail is also much faster when I need to get information of a particular email.
I can of course change my registration information at dynadot to a pentaxworld.com email account, but I don't find it any easier for me to keep record of my domains later.
Hope this clarify once again that this is an invitation to join PentaxWorld.com, not spam
Dear LiamD,
PentaxWorld.com is still very new so there are definitely still much to improve. I use SMF as forum software and the front page design I just use frontpage to make a simple door to the forum.
I am still in search of a good CMS software to integrate into SMF and make it a better site to browse and manage, initially targetted at TinyPortal but the latest SMF release is not supported yet by TP. So, as temperary solution, I create using frontpage for the DOOR first
I am not an expert in web programming, PentaxWorld is a family for all...so hopefully some experts out there can join and be part of the family and make a better world to the Pentax users!

What do you think PentaxJapan means by "blackhole"? Is it the same as us British, By Gad, sir, working-class peasants mean when looking at a prize heifer from the wrong end?
Happy New Year, to each & everyone!
Harry.
Quote from wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_hole
A black hole is an object predicted by general relativity[1] with a gravitational field so powerful that even electromagnetic radiation cannot escape its pull.[2]
A black hole is defined to be a region of space-time where escape to the outside universe is impossible. The boundary of this region is a surface called the event horizon. This surface is not a physically tangible one, but merely a figurative concept of an imaginary boundary. It is defined as the point near the black hole where escape velocity exceeds the speed of light. Nothing can move from inside the event horizon to the outside, even briefly.
Theoretically, a black hole can be any size. Astrophysicists expect to find black holes with masses ranging between roughly the mass of the Sun ("stellar-mass" black holes) to many millions of times the mass of the Sun (supermassive black holes).
The existence of black holes in the universe is well supported by astronomical observation, particularly from studying X-ray emission from X-ray binaries and active galactic nuclei. It has also been hypothesized that black holes radiate energy due to quantum mechanical effects known as Hawking radiation.
