Look guys I paid £99 for this lens last Xmas just look at my gallery picture of the Stonechat.It was admittedly a bright sunny morning(this is when the lens is at it's best) and I remember shooting in RAW (god knows why I can't be bothered with it!)It was taken with the K100d super and was hand held!This picture was a heavy crop as well and only needed a slight sharpen in Picasa.Go for it you wont be disappointed when you use is on bight sunny days! I don't want to start another thread but I read that the Sigma 70-300 APO lens is better with sharper images and out gunned our Pentax version!!Right place right time.pb

Yes the price is right or was right.I bought the pentax 50-200mm from Jessops and yes it was cheap about £53 incl postage.Mind you I had to wait about 3 weeks for it!.But it is a very good lens and reasonably quick.Check out my blackheaded gull pic.This is a cropped image and I'm well pleased.
