Still for sale, 280 or 260 if you want to pick it up from me.

Postage on that would probably be a tenner so let's say 20 off.

Tried to sell it before and no one wanted it, but over a year has passed and I haven't used it a single time since then. I'm moving house and packing now - trying to get rid of things that I don't use. If anyone wants it it's yours for 280 quid and I'll pay for P&P within the UK.

It's in pretty much mint condition, fewer than 50 pics taken. It's got the hood but no box. It's overlapping with my other lenses so it just sits in my bag. It's just a shame for this lens to spend its life in a bag I'd give it away to a friend but none of them use Pentax so folks here are the next best thing I think.

If you live near Portsmouth you can pick it up from me and I'll give you a discount.

I haven't sold anything here yet but I've bought a lens and everything went fine:

Wish there was an edit button. Replace stealth reporter with classified in the previous post. I owned both a stealth reporter and classified (I gave the stealth reporter to a friend after getting a tamrac for a small bag). Unfortunately I've mixed up the names. I laughed but it's rather embarrassing. To my defence lowepro has two dozen bag series going.

I own more bags than lenses (which is sad from any point you look at it) and since this turned into a nice bag appreciation thread I wanted to come in to agree with OP. Barring bags that cost 160 pounds which I don't own I can safely say that so far the stealth reporter is by far the most versatile bag out there just for it's shear capacity and (odd at first glance) proportions - it's quite tall for its size and so fits my compact tripod standing up! Not really stealthy, it's pretty obvious it's a camera bag, but extremely comfy (silly amounts of padding) to wear for extended periods which is really what is most important in a bag for me. Also robust and padded enough to use it for travel.

Wouldn't rate the smaller versions high as the bulkiness to room ratio is poor in them. For smaller setups I recommend Tamrac, velocity (discontinued?) and rally as you get the most capacity at that size (at the cost of safety and comfort but I like the compromise point).

I'm quite interested to find out why people are happy to pay 160 pounds for a Billingham. Just feature wise seems on par with bags half the price so what's the premium for? I wish I had a photography store here so I could see one in the flesh to find out. Maybe I'm missing out.

I am the new owner of the lens.

The exchange went extremely well and in record time despite the bank holiday, thank you Matt.

I'm not allowed to send PMs because of forum rules - do you have an email? Also a sample picture taken with the lens would be really nice.

Someone sent me a PM asking if this is for sale, I replied but then he sent me another PM still asking if this is for sale so I'm guessing I'm either doing something wrong or the PM system is playing up - so to obviate the problem: until I post "SOLD" this is still for sale. Though in a few months time the lens's state is going to be less mint and more used. You can always contact me by email directly - just click on my profile link.

Please forgive me the bump, let's say it's £380 to justify the bump. Last one and then I'll let the topic fade away and I'll just keep the lens. Even if I'll only use it when I can't take my bag with me.

It won't let me edit the first post but as promised I checked the postage and as other posters said it's 7 pounds. This is insured for £500 and arrives the next day so if you have a bank account at Lloyds you can have the lens tomorrow.
