Hello.
Someone here knows this lens Sigma 28-70 F2.8 EX?
I wanted to know your opinion about this because I have a view in buying power.
I have a Tamron 17-50mm f2, 8, did not like her very much, because the compensation in Tamron is very different from other lenses do not know why sometimes I have to use the bracketing at -2 or -3, does not understand why, in K-10 did not need much, so this is now.
I hope your comment.
Best wishes

Stuey, what is wrong with someone wanting better tools? Are you still cooking the rabbit, that you caught with a trap made from stripped tree bark and a branch, on a fire that you lit by rubbing sticks together?

Hello
Thanks for the advice and comments on this topic.
Actually the Pentax system is good in photo landscape pictures and the like, in the wild is a bit behind the competition,.
Actually I am very pleased with my k5, and my questions regarding brand sometimes makes me think I should change ..
But yet I was already pretty clear here with comments about the Sigma 150-500mm lens will be my next purchase.
Thank you all for your support ...
best regards

it is true, where CT is the Pentax never released any more, and I think sometimes two if I should continue with the Pentax because of this factor to find a few lenses on the market, even the Pentax or other brands.

best regards .

hello.
I am undecided in choosing a lens for sports and wildlife.
The lens:
Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM
Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO OS HSM
Pentax DA 60-250mm f / 4 ED SDM
I would like to know your opinion about these lenses.
Also would like to know what they think about the future of Pentax, always will launch a full frame, and if it is worth continuing with this brand so charismatic, that greatly appreciate, and have taught me much in the picture.
I hope your opder have an opinion.
best regards

Hello everyone.
Anyone here ever used old Pentax lenses, Pentax digital cameras in manuias.
Today I bought a lens SMC Pentax M 50mm 1.1.7.
I also have a K1000 film, the lens and use it but tb liked to use in my K5, and K5 uses in there, I have no openings on the lens and camera did not to take pictures.
Anyone know if it is possible to use the lens and shoot in k5.
Best regards.

Hello

Thank you every one, .
I choose the Pentax , it is better the AF , .
But i want a converter to , and the only brand it till have a converter in the markt is Sigma ,
the converter sigma 1,7 it will work well in the Pentax 50-135mm f2,8 ?

best regards.
I think you may have misunderstood - some of the answers - you say you choose Pentax because of the better AF - this is not correct - the Sigma AF is much faster than the Pentax (at least it is on the 50-150 that I own.

Also - just to be very clear - all of the TCs will work manually but there are very few that will AF on HSM or SDM lenses - Those that will AF include The Kenko 1.5shq (as mentioned above) plus the Tamron 1.4x AF PZ MC4 and the Jessop MC 2x Pz/AF.

Hello .
yes you have reason , the sigma af is very fast, but the Pentax sdm is not so fast lihe hsm?
And to find in Portugal some especial zoon lense for Pentax is not easy when you need a lense with F2,8 in 50-150mm or 70-200mm even from other brands, in second hand.
the Sigma 70-200mm lens is an excellent, but very heavy and is not practical.
Second chance is the Sigma 50-150mm very rare to find, the new bayonet has no K for Pentax.
and finally the Pentax 50-135mm I have a person who wants to sell a good price, and wanted to know your opinion about it better, or should I wait and look for other lenses from Sigma.

best regards

Carl
