What you may not know is that the zoom ring slides backward and forward to engage/disengage power zoom mode. I found it accidentally when I bought my 28-105mm lens.
I think only the Z1 and Z1-P cameras used the switch you mention.

cheap ebay had this at £40 camara shop £15 i thort bargin he had a 100 Macro but only k mout not a ka plus it looked like it has had a hrad life
so now i have a 18-55 (came with camara) a 70-200 and now a 38-80

I'm after a good mid range i have the standard 18-55mm and a 150-200 what would you recommend is a good one to get ?

But the K10d was very heavy with just the small lens on fitted.
The K100d had some interesting things but as a Film convert the K110d ticked every box you don't need a degree in computers to work it the SR function is very cool gadget if i was to up grade i would go for the K100D not a fan of battery packs.
