Xbow: Dark - ok. Haven't heard that before - have this image on 4 forums and flickr. I love the walls myself - it gives something extra to the shot imo. But thanks for telling me.
Peter: Thanks a lot. I might do it with the first one. The building is now gone. It was a famous tower at the habour.

I don't much like the second one but the first shot is very nice!

yes I wasn't sure if this could have been caused by a cloud, but the rest of the building is bright and the shadow from the tower is strong so the front of the tower and tip should be brighter I think. I can't put my finger on it but it looks kind of blotchy and inconsistent. Sorry, that's not meant to be harsh, it's quite possible for it to be a natural occurance, but sometimes it takes someone else to look over your shoulder and see something.
kerrowdown - yes it is a demolishing site - half torn down - all concrete and iron pillars....

I tend to agree about cropping the first one a bit.
About the second one - I'm not to sure what you mean about the tower. The light was shifting a lot due to the big clouds - that's why I used HDR for this one.
Thanks for taking time to comment on them.

Try add some contrast to #1 and 2. They seem to lack some punch.
