It's probably because SRS alone is short for "spaced repetition system" which covers a whole lot of subjects, namely language learning so google keywords probably rates that higher. However when I search for SRS Cameras it's always first .

Thanks Mike, that definitely makes sense haha. The non AF looks nicer quality, but that again is personal choice .

Think I might go ahead and get the AF one then.

I've been looking at the SMC 50mm f1.7 lenses for my K20D but I cannot decide between the F or A one. I have read the reviews on both of them and they both seem to be great especially at their price. But is it better to have the auto-focus on this lens or not?

Its definitely good to know that things haven't changed too much, as my dad knows plenty about film cameras but not so much about digital - as when I asked him questions he kept talking about film speed etc. I on the other hand have never really used a film camera, still It can't harm to learn about them though.

I've had a browse of the ones I have too and I'll admit, I prefer the older books .

I guess that the manual that came with the K20D can teach my all about the camera itself - as I never had a manual for the previous camera that I had and after seeing the huge one I have now I see where I went wrong last time haha!

Sorry if this question isnt in the appropriate section of the forum.

But anyway, I have some old books on film photography from my father and I was wondering if they are going to confuse me if I used them in conjunction with my K20D, or are they ok for learning from?

I have a very basic grasp of ISO and other features from my previous dslr camera but I'm hoping to learn these much better and as I mentioned above, I'm not sure if using books on film is appropriate or not as I do not know if there is a big difference.
