After a break from taking pictures for about a 1 1/2 yrs or so ,the nice summer weather has renewed my passion once again. When i first started i was intrigued by macro/closeup in general . So now i'm on the lookout for a nice old manual macro lens ,not really interested in the modern macro lens plus too much money anyways

Next question ...which lens ? I'd also like the lens to double up as a portrait lens (i love taking shots of my granddaughters).

so....which ?

100mm macro
50mm macro
35mm macro
28mm ?

Bearing on mind i'm on a tight budget

Nice shot,my preference is a more portrait style on these shots and also isolating the subject more . But that's just my opinion and preference.

Having problems sourcing where to get the update from ..any help on this ?

Hi,i've been at a stalemate regarding my photography for the last year or so . So over the last few days i've been getting that feeling back to get out and about again ,so i've been giving my kit the brushdown so to speak and i've been thinking of updating the firmware on my Samsung GX10... at the moment it's running ver:1.11,now my next question is will i notice any difference and should i bother to update .
