The green and blue channels look more saturated in the K3 shot. Maybe the red would be as well if there were any in the image.

Have you found other K3 shots to be more saturated than the K5. It's not necessarily a problem, just my observation.

Well they must be rubbish shots coz everybody says Pentax is no good for sports photography.

That's everybody who's never used a Pentax DSLR for sports photography of course.

They look pretty damned good to me.

So how can I justify buying this lens when I have the DA*60-250, Sigma 70-200 OS, and Sigma 150-500 OS lenses already?

Answer, I probably can't, but I am very tempted. But then I'd want the Sigma 24-70 lens that's for sale elsewhere on here as well.

Decisions decisions . . . . .

I use a Minolta Scan Dual IV and as a dedicated film/slide scanner it does a very good job. Much better than my Epson 2450 Photo. Vuescan is also my preferred scanning software.

The only advice that's been given here, and in the topic linked above, that I disagree with is selective scanning. I prefer to scan everything, then select the ones to discard. Having positive images of everything will always make it decide which ones to bin. If you have the prints it's not such a problem of course.

And you have to wait until the film is developed to know whether you've nailed everything to produce a good image.

Can't be doing with that nowadays.

Quite normal. It just means you don't have enough gear or the time to use what gear you do have.

Remedy, get more gear, or a life

Haven't seen anyone testing the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 OS with the K3 yet. Would be interesting to see how it performed
