I'm from Austria and couldn't find one here either. Pentax gear itself can only be found at few shops and special Pentax gear - well forget it alltogether. Many will do special orders for a premium, but at these conditions you're most of the times better off ordering yourself somewhere on the web.Could you say where you bought the case? So my first and straightaway successful stop was on Ebay where...

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a DA limited lens case and want to share some information regarding this piece of equipment as well as answering potential question related to it.
Main purpose for the case is acting as a compact transport device for my limiteds while traveling. Not so much for everyday use, as I usually only take one or two lenses with me when going out, a few exceptions put aside.
The goal was finding such a case for all of my current four limiteds - one on the camera, three in a case. I have the DA 21, DA 35 macro, FA 43 and DA 70 and am really happy that the case holds three limiteds of any combination. The case features 4 padded dividers that can be placed freely, so everything is held perfectly in place.
Below: DA 35, DA 70 and FA 43, all with their original hoods and caps. This biggest possible combination of my lenses perfectly fits inside (In it's original state, the DA 21 is smaller than the other three.).

When not using the original hoods and caps, but stepdown rings as "hoods" with smaller caps, then the FA 43 and DA 70 shrink down to pretty much exactly the same size as the DA 21 and become pancake-like too. In this configuration even an additional fourth lens (as long as it's the DA 40 which I don't have ) fits inside the case next to the DA 21, FA 43 and DA 70.

Thanks for welcoming me everyone. Looks like a pleasant and interesting future in this forum.
Just a short impression of some of my latest shots, so you know my favorite style and what my K-5 + limiteds will be mainly used for in the future:
Still much to learn concerning the artistic part of photography, much harder than the technical side.
Will also post in the gallery as soon as I evaluate something worth showing from my Pentax stuff.

Hello everyone,
John Riley invited me to join this Pentax forum after I made him a rich man on ebay...
So here I am.
I bought a K-5 some months ago, together with the DA 21 + DA 70. Actually as a prime shooter this step was just a matter of time, that finally happended.
Shortly after, I also bought the DA 35 + FA 43. Together with an "old" 50mm f/1.2 I had lying around (yes, it's not a limited, but well, there are no small f/1.2 lenses out there), this setup should satisfy me for quite some time.
Reason for this lens choice were compactness (love pancakes), high quality glass and build quality. In addition this specific setup very nicely fits my shooting style, of course, which mainly consists of stills, one or the other way. I always enjoyed picking one or two small lenses depending on subjects or mood and having fun with them. Today the 21 + 43, tomorrow the 35 alone and on the next day, well who knows...?
Right now, I don't think I personally would gain much with any of the other limiteds added to my setup. The 43 for available light, the 35 for close-ups, my old and heavy 50 for very shallow depth of field and the 21 + 70 for the "extreme" ends of my most used focal lengths.
So my short period of LBA might be over. But who knows for sure - can LBA ever really be overcome? Am I just fooling myself?

I rather liked that myself but I only have 2 Ltd's and decided not to bother, very nice case though, congratulations on the purchase.
Since I have 4 limiteds, use these almost exclusively, and have everything I need 95% of the time (wide, normal, tele, macro, available light) with these few lenses, they will be sufficient for quite some time now and therefore justified the rather high price for "just a small case". Fits perfect and is as compact as possible, just like my limiteds.
