Cracking photos, inspiring.

Lovely specimens and well taken, liked a lot.

Wow!

Agree, exactly what I liked. Nice work.

Thank you all for the comments, appreciated. I should go back one day and improve on them, they were in haste as usual but also many people getting in the way. If taken at the right time they would improve greatly.
The location really is stunning, who needs to go abroad?
Nearby/nextdoor there is a Cottage out building come workshed where a sign advertises Gramophone repairs etc, and a welcoming door open with one displayed. Oh how I wanted to go in and take some shots, but SWMBO and family wouldn't have allowed. Perhaps one day. Maybe one idea for David if he goes there?

Polly Joke is a place in Newquay, on a visit down there I was introduced to this place that I had never heard of. On Fathers Day it was heaving with people, however I managed to get some shots minus peeps. Apparently quite famous for the Poppy fields.
Here they are, I'm not sure on my focus in them, but my favourite first, hope you enjoy. KP and a Tamron 18-200 my travel lens.

First one for me too.
Fascinating and well done.

+1
Even on't mobile they look great!

Oh, SOOC by the way....

I couldn't resist a K100D-Super and lens, DA18-55mm AL, because it was cheap as chips, so I convinced myself it would allow me to see what all this CCD sensor fuss was about - Having missed out on the early days of Digital cameras.

Plus I thought it may come in use should I ever need a SDM lens to revert to screwdrive.

I checked the shutter count that was unknown, = 11,300, the camera cleaned up very nicely as good as new, and the lens did too (metal mount but no WR), out this morning for a brief test. The pictures are only in JPG due to my haste!

Good fun really, I will probably not use it much at all, it is good to have a play though.

So far all appears to be working, internal battery too, buit in flash. Here's a few snaps.

1. First a few with the Tamron 18-200 lens;
