I studied Ba (hons) Photography at Falmouth college of Arts. I won a merit in the AOP student awards 2002 advertising section.... one of my proudest photography moments. After assisting photographers for years i have just gone solo as a freelance and wedding photographer..... I purchased both the Pentax 16-5omm and 50-135 mm lenses. The latter is brilliant, the former has very poor focussing and at least a third of the time, the shutter will not engage on my K10D as clearly the camera feels picture is not focussed. I have numerous other lenses, many of which are much cheaper and they all work fine with the body, so cleary the 16-50 has some issues. I returned it yesterday to Park Cameras to send back to Pentax for repair/replacement. See what happens.
