I haven't posted on here for a while, having been occupied elsewhere.
I have an exhibition of a small number of images running in Winchester, in the foyer of the Everyman Cinema a.k.a. 'The Screen'. These are up until the end of December, so if you want to see these printed large then that's where they're at. It should be noted that printed large is nothing like what you see on a computer screen

This is one of the bodies that I converted last year. I use the converted K-7 for all IR work now, so this one is surplus to requirements.
This body has an 830nm IR-passing filter installed in front of the sensor in place of the normal IR-blocking filter. This means that the images produced by the sensor are black and white right out of the camera, using a manual white balance setting taken from sunlit grass. No filter is required on the lens, and daytime exposures are typically 1/90th at f/6.7 ISO 200 with the Sigma, a stop or so faster with the kit lens.

Shutter count is high, at just under 64k. The body comes with the original box, manual, strap, eyepiece cover, the rubber cover for the grip connector and charger. Due to a mix-up with batteries the OEM battery in it is actually the one from a Samsung GX20, i.e. from the Samsung-branded version. I can add a spare non-OEM battery.
The body is currently in debug mode so that a purchaser can easily adjust the AF in IR. Full instructions will be provided.
The kit 18-55 works well and the AF on this body is set to work properly with that lens. The Sigma 10-20 also works well and gives infinity focus at the infinity mark. Other lenses will vary, please ask.
I believe that ACS charge well over £300 to convert a Pentax so I'm asking £450 for this body.
This is the best time of year to do IR photography, so don't delay!

I ordered the L-plate mentioned above, but what arrived was a round fixing with a non-rotating semi-circular ring. So I'm not yet equipped...

When you unzip the downloaded file you should get a readme.txt file and another one called Fwdc209b.bin - is that part working ok?
The Fwdc209b.bin file is the one that you put on the SD card for the camera to load from. You don't put it in a directory, you put it on the card (i.e. the root directory).
Then you power up as in steps 4 and 5:
4. Turn the camera power on while pressing the MENU button.
5. "NOW LOADING" appears in the LCD monitor, and will change to the
"PROGRAM UPDATE". At the bottom of the LCD monitor,
CURRENT VERSION 1.00/1.01/1.10
UPDATE VERSION 1.11
will be displayed.
So at what point does it depart from that sequence?

It caught me out once. I took a picture where the light from a very high window was just touching a statue, but I didn't really nail the shot.
Looking at the shot later I thought I'd have another go, and I knew the exact time I had to be there. So I turned up just before the appointed time - and waited an hour for the sunbeam to get to its appointed place.
The camera had been on GMT all the time, so the EXIF showed 12:00 and the clock time for the shot was actually 13:00...
That's the shot used for my avatar by the way - there's a slot of a few minutes where it gets that lighting.

These are nice Richard, even the toning suits them.
I think the last is my pick of the three, the long shadows leading towards the sun, of which I instantly thought of the White light that were all supposed to see when we pass over, although these poor souls passed over long ago.
