You've said it all. Yes, technically could have been a little sharper but her family are not looking at technicalities here. They see past that and have a whole different opinion.

This is a good image. There is something missing here. Have you adjusted levels as I think that there is a lot more colour depth to be revealed. potential for a good B&W as well maybe?

I have just held a piece of card across the bottom of this image to see what it looks like with the foreground cropped.
I think it's better cropped, but that is only me. It's a good subject and a brochure shot.
