Boxed K20D camera including additional battery - £385 body only or £425 with boxed 18-55 lens

K10D/20D grip including one battery - £50

Have checked last night and the camera has less than 6,000 shutter actuations from new.

I've got two Pentax bodies and decided one is enough - so I'm selling a lightly used K20D (I would estimate around 5,000 shots and certainly less than 10,000 - but if I can work out how to find out the actual number I'll update this post). The LCDs are clean and unmarked. The camera is boxed and with all the bits it should come with, some of which have never been taken out of their wrappers. Also an extra Pentax brand battery. I can post some pictures of the camera and send links if you are interested before making a commitment.

In addition, I have a grip, which has seen slightly more use (also on my K10D) and has a minor mark on the edge that I know is there but most people would probably never notice! Still has the white plastic cap to cover the connections to the main body. Not sure I still have the box for this, but will look for it before posting. I will also include a battery (generic) with this too. Keeping the IR remote though!

I could be persuaded to part with 18-55 DA AL II if that would make or break a deal - barely used, mint condition and boxed. Not interested in selling this as a separate item as I'll keep it unless someone needs it to complement the K20D above.

I'm not sure of the realistic market prices for all of the above, but would sell the lot for £475 incl postage (insured within the UK). If you have any questions or want to make a sensible offer for all or part of the above, let me know.

Pentax UK seems to me to be pretty much non-existant. The website is hopeless, and the marketing recently has disappeared. I wonder if they're going to disappear to France too?

I know the K7 does a lot that I won't use (not least, video), but for me the idea of having a camera with the controllability of the K10/20 but in a body the size of the K7 is a real plus. Personally, I often reach for my K100 instead of K20 just for this reason.

Mostly the performance of the K20 is far in excess of my requirements, so as long as the K7 is at least as good, and handles well when you pick it up and use it, I could be tempted. I've already started a big clearout of old kit, just in case the reviews and price eventually become irresistable - I can't justify shelling out lots of new money for it, but could persuade myself that it's OK if I cover most of the cost by selling other stuff....

Having a bit of a clearout and now I've got a faster replacement, this lens deserves to go to a home that'll put it to good use.

It's in excellent cosmetic condition (I'd say mint minus) with only a minor area where the paint has worn off a small part of the aperture ring.

Everything works as it should, aperture blades all fine etc, and I've taken some nice sharp shots with it.

Optically it's very good - there are a couple of tiny specs inside the lens but you have to look hard for them and they have no impact on the IQ.

Has a built in hood and comes with front and rear caps.

Looking for £45 including P&P within the UK (this would include registered post and it will be well wrapped). But also open to reasonable offers as long as they're not "very speculative"!

Doh! It was me that bought that one on Ebay last week too....

Hope you have luck on this forum - I ended up getting PKA adapter on EBay but they don't go cheap (£70 for one that is as new, boxed with instructions and I suspect they were half that a year or two ago). PKM adapters much easier to find and way cheaper if you don't mind stop down metering.
