Postman woke us at 07:50, very anxious to thrust a 10-17mm into my wife's hand!

She very pointedly demanded of me, 'Not another lens I hope?'.

'Yes', I replied, 'Just leave it on top of your box from Lakeland'.

Silence followed

Great lens, great condition, thanks Will.

Thanks Peter. I'll give this a go.

Also, I found some software called 'ExposurePlot' that'll do analysis on screen, displaying certain exif data as bar charts. This program seems to be no longer supported, but is incorporated with more bells and whistles in another program called 'Wega2', which I haven't yet tried.

Just as a bit of feed-back, the 16-45 stayed on the camera all day.

Would have/could have used a wider lens ie 12-24, as I reckon 90% of my shots were within that focal length range.

Trying to analyze exif data at the moment (see my other thread for help on what tool to use for analysis of 'bulk' data).

Chelsea was an experience, but crowded!

Look at the Wimberley 'The Plamp' for a ready made solution,(about £30), but I've made a similar device using Manfrotto flexible arms and clamps; bit more versatile in that I can mount flash guns, ball heads, etc on it. Clamps to a tripod leg or similar.

'Photome' will analyse certain parts of it and chart it for you, not sure about export though.
I can't get Photome to open more than one 1 image at a time. What am I missing?

Thanks Peter. Had a quick look at it, seems very complicated, but can't see anything for bulk data.

What I'd like is for something that could scan and export exif data for my whole collection of photographs in on go.

Does anyone know of software that would allow either in-software bulk analysis of exif data, or export of bulk data to Excel?

thanks, John

Thanks guys! Looks like the 16-45 will be in the bag, but decisions, decisions...no consensus on lens no. 2, but looks like it could be the 100.

I'd take the 16-45mm for your wide to normal shots, plus the 100mm for macros and candid telephoto shots. The 12-24 would be useful too, but you don't want to be carrying too much. It's a tiring and crowded place. If you start feeling claustrophobic, Chelsea Physic garden is nearby and well worth a visit.
Thanks Will. Take it you've been?
