If it's cine film, don't you have to strip off the backing as well? Still, it's worth a try as suggested.

In theory you could design a relacement back that contained the CCD and all the electronics, but in practice there could be huge difficulties. e-film did have a prototype that fitted like a film, but it never materialised commercially.

I prefer the new DSLRs as they are - fully integrated designs that work impeccably. Not so sure I would want a heavy metal hybrid version!

I've asked the same question of many people, and so far nobody has known the answer.

You can of course test it very quicklyin the field by looking at the replay and then adjusting exposure accordingly.

When I did night shots I didn't become conscious of any great degree of reciprocity failure, but exposures did not generally exceed 30 seconds.

I've checked with the Canadian Photo Club, which is where it was posted, and they tell me they prevent hotlinking to avoid "bandwidth thieves" using their server facilities.

It would seem the blocking is not 100% effective.

You can see the image in this thread on the ADAPS website, where we have put it on the ADAPS server.

We had a night shoot at Leigh Parish Church. Everyone had a good time taking photos and climbing up turrets and towers that are not normally open. This is a picture I made from images taken on the shoot.

Don't worry about it, it is indeed a K lens. The price on eBay is not staying still. It's ironic that the 18mm, originally a less expensive option than the 15mm, is actually now quite rare and commands sometimes high prices.

Supply and demand....
