Thanks to both of you. Actually, I figured it out after I wrote my first comment. In the Custom setting, I had the setting to optical preview. I changed it to digital preview and it works fine. The manual for the K10D is not very clear on this. Joe

When I compose the picture and focus and then move the power switch to digital preview, nothing happens. I can get a digital preview if I go to AWB in the function mode. How do you get a digital preview? Thanks, Joe

I have a K100D which takes great pictures. The problem I have is that when I view a some pictures in replay mode, the camera seems to freeze up. When this happens, I can not edit the picture or change modes. The only solution is to turn the camera off and back on after which I can resume taking photos. When I have deleted the offending picture, the problem is solved but reappears with other new pictures, seemingly at random. Any idea as to what is happening?
