Spotted in Hereford Pentax pro dealer

White KM, looks different but that doesn’t make it good in my eyes, K20 with GPS, external blipper thingy, but the biggest surprise was a 18 55 standard zoom for £185, I think it was new!!!
Time to cash in our standard zooms perhaps

The fastest way to change the iso speed “ press the OK button and turn the front wheel, to return to auto iso press the green button while holding the OK button” no need for the fn menu.

I am not saying that it is not good, you don’t get to be that size business buy not being good, just I had a problem with the free version.

I then up graded to the full internet security system, as I thought it may be a software clash, this had a habit if loosing connection with the virus definitions, when this happened my computer took about 1.5 hours to boot this as you can imagine was not a the best help when I wanted to start work.

The support people gave very precise instructions on how to remove AVG and reinstall but after the third time decided that enough was enough.

The original problem was a Trojan allowed in, it was then identified but would not remove it, PC tool internet security identified it removed it and repaired the damaged files.

PC tools is not free, but the small licence fee covers 3 computers.

I tend to thinks most free programmes, like free advice, may not be the best you can get.

P.S. I am not connected in any way with PC tool it just had a good rating on the Web.

Thanks Peter / John

Just wondered if it would be better to stand on the filter ring with cap removed on a glass shelf, this would remove the possibility of fungus developing in dark conditions.

How do you store your lenses when not in use?
I am confused because the 55-300 came with a soft lens case, but the more expensive 17-70 didn’t.
What is the consensus, if the lenses are stored in an old but clean shoulder bag is this considered adequate in the view of the majority on this site.
