Personally if the images are up to scratch and I didn't have the 16-50 I would be interested, the price would have to come down significantly though........ Remember everyone gets a bee in their bonnet about the DA* and the SDM motors, and new this is cheaper even at at introductory price than the 16-50.

For me the WR plus the DC motor with a good wide end are selling points. It's exactly in the range I use pretty much all the time and to go wide at 16mm is useful for a zoom. Not fussed about long lenses myself so this would have been an early purchase if it had existed at the time to go with my K5. With the high ISO performance does it really matter that it's variable aperture? The DA* zooms are pretty big to get that?

Somewhere there is a thread where someone used a DA 18-55 on film and was not bad. I think the DA 35 (plastic) works on film.....

This is my copy of the DA* 50-135mm SDM lens. It comes boxed with lens caps and hood and all in very good condition. I purchased this secondhand from York Camera Mart and I have had no problems whatsoever with this lens and I have used quite a lot (Original receipt included if desired). Only thing I don't have for it is the pouch.... Mechanically everything is smooth and silent and the zoom ring has a better feel than my previous copy.

If at all worried about me being based n a foreign country until recently I was in the UK and have bought and sold quite a bit of kit through this forum including a previous copy of this and a DA12-24mm. My ebay (which I only use occasionally) is lab423 to see 100% positive feedback.

I just hope it's watertight.......

Our heating "system" is a large mass of metal strewn around the house! Fortunately it's still warm here but it will change soon. Will be a central heating system run from a large wood burning boiler which my father-in-law insists will work wonderfully.

But he's the only one who can weld/knows what the design is.......

I've found these transition lenses are great up until the point I use a viewfinder.............

The Super A is a good choice (I have two!) and is all black so looks nice too. It's only draw back is that you need batteries....... I don't think they are all that expensive either. I have had good results with the MZ-7 as well as noted by someone above. Even though it is plastic it still feels nicely substantial in use.

I have the following up for sale only as after a trip back to the UK and some other unforseen expenses I have over extended myself somewhat.... Emigration really is rather expensive!! I am also trying to avoid having to sell the DA* zooms so......

The items are located in Budapest, Hungary but am offering these at a fair price after checking the forum here for previous sales and will only add UK RMSD (from experience it would be around £10 or so with a well packaged parcel) as postage and absorb the difference for international postage myself. I want these to sell as I know international postage can be quite high. They will be sent by Magyar Posta (Hungarian national Post Office) and insured with tracking (the Magyar Posta website has this in English!!).

Payment is fine with bank transfer (I have a UK bank account so big charges will not be accrued) or Paypal if desired. I have bought and sold on this forum and not had a problem with bank transfer as payment.
