Well put Kris, I come from the "he who never made a mistake, never made anything " school maybe I make a lot of mistakes but it works for me ...jeff..

Ahem ; (raises head from laptop polishes monocle and screws it into right eye ) what pray tell is a "prom night"?...jeff .... nice portraits I like no 8 and the last one ...

Took me dogs Up on the crag behind the village this evening spent a spellbinding half hour watching a group of young Kestrels first 3 then 4 and finally 5 of them , swooping and riding the thermals mock fighting and learning ,just playing in the sky , it brought a lump to my throat and made me remember why I live here ... sadly I didn't have me camera ... Jeff..

When I lived In Colchester in the 1970s I liked Tolly Cobbold beer and Greene King do they still exist?... Jeff...

Just beautiful , my jaw has dropped.... jeff

Good work with volume2 ,some very nice portrait stuff and I love" hulla hoop girl" and "maximum speed"... jeff

I find it very liberating to get rid of all the old stuff and move on to the new. So I delete stuff as much as possible ,like winnowing out the dross, it's like having a car boot sale of stuff that I will never use again ,My ideal is to have 100 to 200 photos that I really like , that don't need explaining ... ...(that means I have to delete lots more) and the parameters keep changing,, stuff that I was proud of last year is now in the dross pile that's life. just keep on taking more .....jeff

Thanks Stan I'll try harder next time .. jeff

Thanks judderman, yes they are lovely I've sat for ages next to a water cistern that I use for irrigation watching these beauties and failed to get a good picture they move so fast and erratically .
So I am sad that I clipped the tail off this one when it was sat still on my bedroom ceiling doh and double doh..........jeff.... shall I try a crop?

I think image A is the better of the two sycamore pictures.
The seaweed rocks, well I guess image C is just a tad sharper than D.... IMHO..
So is this an experiment you are conducting?...jeff... and I think I agree with Kris on the rock crop...
