Hi Folks, couldn't sign in today, so maybe I had joined the Pentaxforum some years ago, not this one.

I'm John, been using Pentax DSLRs for about 10 years - prior to that I had compacts, although in the past I had a Pentax 110 SLR (and various OMs). Currently have a K7 converted to IR and a K5, and hopefully a K1-ii but that was being upgraded with Johnsons Fotopia at the end of September so God only know when I will get that back (or whether I will get a Mk1, Mk2 or a bag of bits somewhere in between).

Only just found out about this - as I was trying to chase up my K1 which went in for upgrade on 20th September. Hope I get a working camera back and not a box of bits.
