was puzzled why no love for fa31. superb image quality, compact enough, fast, beauty. on pentax, definitely first pick. probably on ff as well, as i never tried 43. love 77 as well...

maybe i used the wrong expression. lens is not scratched, but has some marks on a black paint, on the body and front cap. they are clearly visible on the photos

maybe you should try an old mf 24/2.8 or similar prime. small and can get good one for nice price. it makes 35mm on aps-c, af is usually not mandatory, even better with prefocusing. i have used czj2 with pleasant results. have tried with tamron 17-50 zoom, but always manage to kick zoom out of desired setting, and focus throw is way to small and focuses too easy for accurate prefocusing.
af in your budget is a problem. maybe sigma mini/super wide, as af versions exist, if you can find one.
