After a couple of weekend when I have been very underwhelmed with my Tamron lens, I spent the week taking advice from SRS and this forum, I accessed my debug menu and started fine tuning my AF. It took a while but when on Friday I was taking sharp pictures of birds doing dogfighting in flight I was happy I had the setting OK.
So I headed to Vagrants sports club with hi hope and boy do I love this lens now.

If I adjust my K10D for this lens would all my other lens be out on the body?

OK I have given this lens two weekends of action to confirm what I thought was an issue last weekend. At minimum focal length it is spot on and sharp but anywhere beyond that and ""this dog don't hunt"" I have 90% of pictures that are only focused about 10m behind what I aimed at. An example was the cricket yesterday I could only get the Batter in focus by aiming at the back of the non-batting batsman...
I am returning this lens as if is useless for the one thing I bought it for a winter of rugby.
My question is where to send it. Is it an issue with the Model in which case I return to the supplier and look else where, or is it just with this lens so I should send to Tamron for a replacement.
Anyone who has one of these lens could you let me know how yours performs.
