Just checked park cameras and the k-x body only has gone up to £359 now it was at 309 at beginning of the week, then went to 329 now this. won't be buying it from there then.

£399 that's a good price, don't think they have it for that now.

anyone know anything about abc digital cameras? was looking at park cameras to get the k-x for £309 but I have just looked and they have put it up to £329 since this morning. but abc have still got it at £309.

yes i would like to get 55-300mm really but funds won't allow that once I buy the camera. oh and thanks for roy that I will let you know for sure if I definately go ahead with the camera. how much would you be looking for?

thanks alan, I think I will get the 50-200mm for now. I have a panasonic compact ( fz38 ) at the moment and I have to say, it's a great little camera, but obviously not dslr standard. just one other thing, I heard that the shutter is pretty loud on it, do you find this a problem? I noticed that you have quite a few bird shots and that is mainly what I like to photograph. I had a k100d a while ago and I did find it quite loud when taking photos of birds/wildlife etc. but I think I would be prepared to live with that for the better image quality. thanks.

thanks guys, Alan I noticed you use the k-x as well, just looked at your photos, they look great, were they all taken with the k-x? and I noticed that you were using the 50-200mm lens for some, how did you find that? as I want the bigger zoom but definately won't be able to afford more than 50-200mm at the moment. thanks
