Sharpness of the Tamron 70-300mm is very good for the type of lens. In fact it's sharper at the important f5.6 setting than the Pentax according to Photozone.de. It's also sharper than some older Pentax zooms and primes that I have tried.

i have uniross rechargeable batteries 2700mah for my camera which seemed to work fine but after a couple of months they seem to be losing power very quickly or not charging properly in the first place. charge them up put them in and they either say empty or run out after a few shots. i bought some normal disposable batteries to try and they were fine so i dont think its the camera. anyone any ideas?
