I'm Paul

Just joined...

I'm an ameteur with an eye for a shot but limited skills. Had Film SLRs, the a Canon D60 (the 6mp one) then moved to the Canon G series. Now I have an Rx100 M5 and M1, and a Pentax K3.

The K3 was bought used from an Irish guy who had taken 210 shots with it then decided it was too complex... his loss my gain !

So far, just playing with it, really nice to hold and test shots are v impressive.

Hi Paul

Welcome to the forum! The K3 is a fantastic camera, have fun getting to know it!

I've a huge soft spot for Hull, and need to get over a bit more this year for the COC celebrations. Enjoy them while they're on! (And show us some images )

Welcome!

Apart from driving to and from the ferry I haven't been into Hull for many many years. My brother went to university there, and worked in the Land of Green Ginger for a few years, before moving to York. His Nibs Auntie lived in Hull too.
Next time I use the ferry I shall make a point of revisiting the city.

Is Victoria still on the toilet in the middle of the square? My brother had a record with a song about it and it always made me laugh.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

Looking forward to learning and developing my skills. Will share some posts as I get stuck in.
