This is a very nice picture. You got the lenght of the train very nice. I also like the colours and the puddles on the left.
I believe the Deltics where the only Diesels which had a hydraulic transmission which was similar to the German V200 Diesels which run about the same time as the Deltics. and I think, but I may be wrong, The transmission was made by Voit.

Great shot. I remember seeing them around Christmas to New year coming out from under the snow in my Grand fathers garden in Stuttgart.
