The horizontal water ripples are a nice background and your lapwing is nicely "posed"

Everything in this scene, including the rocks and trees, somehow seems to lead the eyes into the raging white water near the photo's centre. A compelling ride. Like.

Again, my comment made this morning disappeared. What I said was the bison's "pose" ---head and neck down, and looking right at the camera---is excellent. A strong contrast with the background pops the mighty beast into our laps. A hearty LIKE.

What can you do but applaud? This is one of the finest duck captures I have ever seen. It has an almost 3-D quality because the birds are so separated from the background. Bravo Roy!

Feels plucked right out of a 1940's French noire movie. Fabulous composition and PP. Show us more like this Grogeman.

Let me be the first to say "j'adore"! PP is superlative, and if you tell me there was no PP, I shall commit hara kiri.
