She's been a star in the garden despite spiking her thumb knuckle in a carelessly dropped garden fork. She dropped the fork so..

...she got sympathy though, there was blood! she's currently sat nursing a sore thumb drinking the tasty Polish mead type liquor.

I get no sympathy for the bad back though, there's no blood!

Hello everbody.

Long time no type!

Been spending the last few weeks moving muck around the back garden.

We rent a plot of land from the electric people, they came and replaced the sub-station gubbings, so the garden got, er, wrecked.

The result was a new layout which meant 12 railway sleepers and moving around 8 tons of muck. The latest is 2 tons of hardcore to level the top for parking a small (goods) trailer on.

Well knackered! But a good excuse to enjoy revitalising beers, whiskies and gins.

Just going to sample a Polish liquor now..

I know I've been a little absent this year, but can I wish all a very happy new year?

I'm already on the beer and there will be wine and gin involved later as we eat our Chinese/Thai meal.

Lets look forward to another year and all the experiences that will bring.

We have had flooded callers on our road, usually on the top side of the blocks.

We're on the bottom side...

Now the proud owner of a K3 11 and grip. The plastic fantastic 50mm lens is impressive as well.

Being talking to Honesty, they have no power, so can't cook or heat the house..

..either house. They're in a rented one and we were going over to help get their new bought home sorted.

Fortunately it's not by the river so should be dry.

We're supposed to be out in Lancaster with Honesty today, but heavy rain and flooding has all but isolated the city so we've stayed home..

..on our hill in Bradford.

The news has shown flooding in Keswick and surrounding areas. I'm so glad I live where I do but feel sorry for those affected.
