Well?

Did you get airborne?

Long time no post, just a quick one to say it's Eurovision, pizza and wine...

....and beer, and G'n'T...

Nothing changes!

Hello all, just been catching up everything and hope all's going well.

I have sad news, my much loved ginger tom, called George has passed away., he'll be missed so much.

At 20 years old he's had a good life and we have fond memories, may he rest in peace.

K1?

As for Spring, although the weather here has been, er, interesting, we don't seem to have had winter yet!

Things are just fine Gwyn, I've got a new K3II and lens so have been playing with that.

I've also been busy hosting a couple of manual sites for 2 moped/autocycle forums...

...and drinking plenty of beer, wine and other stuff?

OMG, the thread is still around!

Long time no post, but I keep trying to catch up, the reason for this post is to comment on the sad demise of Lord Snowden.
He was a good photographer and once said something like all photography is just good luck. I'm not a recent royalist but do appreciate his work.

RIP.

Sorry to hear of your loss Gwyn, I feel as though I knew Timber through this thread.

Remember the good times and he'll live on.

...and I'm pricing up wall paper and paint for Honesty's staircase...

Gutted!

Went down into Otley to watch the Ladies set of on their Tour de Yorkshire race, good time but camera stumped me.

I need to sort out how to set up my new(ish) K3ii, I got a lot of shots in burst mode, then I couldn't use the camera for 10 minutes while it wrote the images to the cards. Do I need RAW files?!! Do I need faster cards??

Got home to watch the race live on TV only to be stopped by 'a technical problem' at the race end. I just hope the got some recorded footage for the highlights show this evening and the problem is solved for this afternoon's mens race.

Is there anybody out there?

We have a nice new lawn, hebaceous grit.

That's gravel, and very nice it looks too. Mrs HG's thumb's still a little sore, but she's getting over the shock/pain.

As for the Polish stuff, very nice and a little like a sweet sherry. My Polish workmate Emile gave me the bottle as a combined thanks for lifts to work and birthjday pressie. I like Emile, he also gave me a bottle direct from Poland for Xmas, proper Vodka with a good bite and taste.
