Yes.

The problem is I want to buy a 125cc bike for commuting and they think I can't ride!
Despite the fact that I have 9 years no claims on my BMW the companies think, because I haven't ridden a 600cc or above bike in the last 12 months, that I'm a 'born again' rider.

There's no way of letting them know that I've been riding for 36 years, the last 25 as a Park Ranger.

As for 'what licence' I have..

...it's a full UK one with A,D, and E entitlement...

AAAARGH!!!

Apparently, according to Swinton's online insurance quoting system, I can't hold a full class A UK motorcycle licence based on my date of birth!!!

All the other options are learner or international ones!

I'm pretty damn sure I passed my test in November 1976 and have held that license ever since!!

Bl**dy stupid forms, it's no wonder people don't get insured.

Rant over.

Weather her, snow on ground and sky's clear, bit cold though.

Going by the serial on that Lieca I'd say it's a 1932 Lieca II that's been modified at some stage, the top around the speed dial and front don'tlook original. Still looks nice though compared to my old lady

I would struggle to choose between my MX, MZ6 and my Lieca IIIa if I only had one camera to keep.

Oh, and I use a cheap russian Elmar copy lens on my Lieca. It's coated sComment Image

You have a window don't you Gwyn?

Shoot through that and stay in the warmth, that's what I'd do.

How's things this morning Barrie? Hope you're both feeling better and warm. There's no need to go out so crank up the heating and stay snug.

I've just got back from collecting another package the post office couldn't be bothered delivering correctly. Think I'll start charging them for my mileage.
