And the idiots are at it again!

I couldn't get into my local Morrisons supermarket car park yesterday, the panic buyers were blocking the entrances top the car park queing for petrol..

..which means that I had to go too Aldi instead and not get what I wanted!

What will these idiot drivers do in 10 years time when they have electric cars and there're power cuts?

Oh well, long live Brexit and the freedom to be complete morons...

Sorry John, this isn't meant to be or sound like a political post, just a vent.

Just groceries? Nothing alcoholic? Surely you've not given it up...

Steve
Nope, alcohol arrived today in the form of bottles of beer from Saltaire Brewery.

I can recomend Unity, New Woeld and Citra, the rest are pretty good as well...

Just back from a short camping stay in North Yorks..

,,washing machine's on, awning's airing and I'm now off upstairs to sort out the sparebedroom to get it all away.

And that all follows an early delivery of groceries that Mrs HG is putting away..

Ah, good times...

The Witches books are a good read, but I'm currently reading through the Guards series so the travesty really hurts, and to make things worse it's a BBC America production!

And on a different matter, I have to admit being a Terry Pratchett fan and as such enjoy the SkyTV adaptations but now,

The Yanks have got hold of 'The Watch'...

...all I can say is it bears no resemblance to the book, the characters are unrecognizable and props more 'Steam Punk' than Discworld.

Terry would hate it.

Lucky you Dave, When I hit 60 I checked what I could claim..

...free eye test...Prescriptions..

...and that's it because I don't get any state benifits!

In Scotland though it's a different matter...

I need to get my eyes tested, everything was fuzzy when I was sat at the PC, turned out to be finger prints on the lenses!

Quick clean and all's clear again...

...and I qualify for free eye tests, the only thing that is free in 'england' to over 60s.

Managed a tidy house and then went to Scotland for 10 days, hence the silence.

It's a shame such a lovely country it spoilt by midges...
