I'm a firm believer in that you take what you want in that very moment you push the shutter button. A collection of thoughts and intrinsic feelings tells you, "this is what I believe is right". The latent image sits and patiently waits for the magical process of development. Then, on seeing the result, it shouts out to you "Hey! You captured me just perfectly ". The whole frame please. I like these quirky one offs. They appear in a line of negatives and make you wonder what happened. Ethereal dark angelic beauty or visiting alien spaceship? Comment by graysummers on 05/04/2017 - 08:12 |

Lovely work. Ticks the tingly spine box. Yummy black and white too. If I was lucky enough to have taken this I'd have shouted out "YES!". Comment by graysummers on 20/11/2016 - 18:17 |

It's the Summers bit. Word association as per Grey Summers. Ties in nicely with my monochrome film preferences this use of Grey. Lovely mistake to have made. Have a greyt day. 😊 Comment by graysummers on 20/11/2016 - 10:55 |

Hi Maria, Just got a yearning to visit the site again. Took a postal delivery of 5 Ilford HP5 36 exposures this morning. First film I've bought for a couple of years now. Haven't taken a photograph for years. Very bad on my part. So..I thought... better to look on the site for inspiration? And here you go, a lovely first piece of viewed work to jangle inspiration in the photographer that I wil... Comment by graysummers on 18/11/2016 - 10:34 |

Wow. My favourite subjects of all. Dunes and black and white. Of course you add human elements which I sorely lack in my dune photies. Splendid as always. Comment by graysummers on 06/06/2015 - 15:25 |
