Just another thought.
If you do take photos to prepare a terrorist act and the police say you must delete the photo, isn't the police officer then not guilty of destroying evidence?
I THINK terrorist act is only in force when u take photos of govt. institutions/buildings/objects/subjects.
Historic/public/museums/ are all non-terrorists acts and taking photos in Cinema is piracy.... whereby u will be prosecuted.

I use portrait lens a lot, and am happy with My MF Nikor 135mm Ai lens with K20D Body using a converter. The results are awesome, Its the sharpest combination i have seen with a great depth of bokeh.

Jay,

No offense taken. I do not defend any camera system. I use what I feel is better for me in different situations. I have often bought equipment because I liked the look of it and had never tried it first. K7 is an example.

Welcome to the forum Jay.
I use Leica scopes on my rifles and they are exceptional.

I am not so sure that the issue of colour based on sensor/lens combination is so obvious?

Are you using straight from the camera without any adjustment?

I suppose it's a complement to Pentax that you say your best results have been with Pentax.

I use Pentax, Nikon and Minolta DSLR's with a smattering of Canon, Fuji and Olympus point & shoots. The colours from all of them differ. My Nikon certainly does not blow any colours up and in fact I normally boost saturation slightly. The Minolta has warm, film like colours. My istD, K10 and K7 are very neutral.

I do not set anything in the menus above Zero. So nothing short of flatlining.

Looking forward to your photo's.

Regards
Hi thanks for your comments.
First of all I am not a ctitique of Nikon, Sorry for my words earlier.
I do have a nikon camera but i hardly use it bcoz you can never get true colours at any given time on any occasion except if i compose v.well which needs lots of effort and time untill the golden moments pass by you and me. Whereas i have used the pentax and mostly got close to true colours. My earlier comment was the use of leica lenes on pentax camera.
I do not compose/digitise my fotos mostly. i like them straight from the camera as they are, thats the reason i shoot films also. Thanks once again do keep in touch. BR

Thanx everyone, I really appreciate your comments. What i have been observing in the last couple of months with leica lenses is that the colours are very natural(Landscapes and portraits) exactly as seen with naked eyes.
to prove my point i will post a photo later today taken with my LX3. Its just i canot get these colours in any other camera or with anyother lens. BR

Hi I m Jay I am a Pentax Film/Digital User. I have a standby Nikon camera But i only use nikon Lenses on my Pentax with a cnverter adapter. I love the colours of Pentax they are so real.Nikon colours are just blown up and look to artificial. However I am begining to like Leica lenses, I would be interested in some tips for Leica lenses for pentax.
